Ravi Udyog has been sitting here at 30/116 in Kumar Pada for as long as most people can remember. Chhipi Tola is a busy neighborhood, and we are right in the thick of it. The streets are narrow and there’s always someone walking by or a bike zipping through. Our place is more of a workshop than an office. It’s got that old-fashioned feel where you can smell the materials we work with as soon as you step through the door. We don't have a website or a marketing department. If you want to find us, you just ask around the neighborhood or look for the number 30/116. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, and the floors are worn down, but it’s a place where real things happen. We have a few benches and some old tools that still work better than the new ones. It gets pretty hot in the summer, so we keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through. It’s a simple life. We start early, take a break for lunch when the sun is high, and finish up before it gets too dark. We know everyone on the street, and they know us. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing what we know how to do, day after day, in Chhipi Tola.
