Shayamashyam Glutech Corporation

Shayamashyam Glutech Corporation is set up on the Mathura Road in the Sikandra area. We are right across from Sudhir Dharam Kanta. Since we are near the weighbridge, there are always heavy trucks rumbling past our front door. The vibrations from the road are something you just get used to after a while. Our building is a simple concrete structure. We handle various industrial materials and chemical products here. It’s a lot of barrels and sacks stacked up in the warehouse. We spend a good chunk of our day checking labels and making sure the inventory matches our records. It’s dusty work, and the heat on Mathura Road can be quite intense in the summer months. We have a couple of fans running constantly, but they mostly just move the warm air around. The staff here is small, just a few of us managing the orders and the loading. We don't have any big corporate signs or fancy reception areas. You just walk in and someone will be there to help you. We eat our lunch together in the small break area at the back. Most of our neighbors are also in the industrial trade, so we all know each other. Sometimes the delivery trucks get delayed because of the traffic jams near Sikandra, but that’s just life on the highway. We keep our paperwork in big plastic folders to protect them from the dust. It's a busy, practical place to work. We keep a stash of biscuits for the afternoon tea break.
