I started this shop on Gali Number 6 some years back. Shashtri Nagar is where we are, right in the middle of Khandari. People come here for cricket bats or maybe a football for their kids to play with in the street. We have some gift items too, like mugs and photo frames that people buy for birthdays when they're in a hurry. It gets a bit crowded in the lane sometimes, especially in the evenings, but it’s a good spot. I keep the shelves stocked with whatever is in demand at the time. Sometimes it's badminton rackets, other times it's board games for the rainy season. It’s a small place, nothing fancy about it. I’m usually behind the counter from morning until late evening most days. My brother helps out when he can, though he has his own work. We know most of the neighbors who stop by for a chat. If someone needs a quick gift on the way to a party, they just pop in and grab something. The sports stuff is mostly for the local school kids who live around here. I try to keep things organized but sometimes the boxes pile up in the corners. It's just a regular local shop where you find bits and pieces. Nothing more to it, really. Just staying busy and keeping the lights on for the customers. If you're walking down Gali 6, you'll see our sign there next to the corner house. I’ve lived here a long time.
