Onyx Shoes

Our place, Onyx Shoes, is over at A-6 in the Indra Puri part of New Agra. It’s a spot we’ve called home for quite a long time now. If you walk down the main road, you might miss us if you aren’t looking closely at the building numbers. The area around Indra Puri is usually filled with people going about their business, and the mornings are particularly loud with all the scooters and rickshaws zooming past. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy structure with some aging paint on the walls. Inside, things are mostly quiet except for the sound of some machinery or people talking in the back. We have a small desk near the entrance where someone usually sits to take deliveries. The light in the hallway is a bit dim, but we got used to it. New Agra can get really dusty in the summer, and we spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy. There is a tea stall just a few steps away from A-6 where most of us go when we need a quick break from the work. It’s just a normal workplace, really. We come in, do what needs doing, and then lock up for the day. Sometimes the mail gets delivered to the wrong neighbor, but we all know each other around here, so it works out fine in the end.
