You can find our factory at 22/3, Motilal Nehru Road. It’s a place that stays filled with the smell of leather and adhesive from the moment we open up in the morning. We make shoes here, and it’s a process that involves a lot of different steps and a lot of noise from the stitching machines. The floor is divided into sections for cutting, sewing, and finishing. It’s not a high-tech automated facility; it’s a place where people sit at benches and work with their hands. We have a lot of racks filled with shoe molds and stacks of hide waiting to be used. The lighting is bright, and the fans are always spinning to keep the air moving, especially during the summer months. Motilal Nehru Road is a busy area, so there’s always some background noise from the street, but we mostly tune it out. Our workers have been with us for a long time and they know their way around the materials. We don't have a fancy front office for visitors, just a small space to take care of the paperwork and orders. It’s a straightforward operation where the focus is entirely on the production line. Sometimes we run into issues with the machines or a batch of material isn't quite right, and we just have to stop and fix it ourselves. It’s just how we do things here, focusing on the craft and getting the pairs ready for the market.
