Divyanshi Footwear

Divyanshi Footwear is a small shop we run in the New Abadi area of Mohanpura. We are situated very close to the Idgah Maszid, which is a major landmark for anyone trying to find us. Because we are near the masjid, the area gets very crowded during prayer times, and we see a lot of foot traffic passing by our display windows. We sell all sorts of shoes, from simple slippers to more sturdy footwear for daily use. The shop isn't very big, so we have to stack the shoe boxes all the way up to the ceiling to fit everything in. Sometimes a stack will fall over when we are trying to find a specific size, but we just laugh it off and pick them up. My brother and I usually handle the customers ourselves, talking to them about what they need and letting them try on a few pairs. The New Abadi neighborhood is a lively place with children playing in the streets and vendors selling snacks nearby. We don't have a fancy marketing plan; we just try to be helpful to the people who walk in. The floor is a bit worn down from all the feet walking on it, but that just shows we've had plenty of visitors. Mohanpura is a good place to be, and having Divyanshi Footwear right by the Idgah Maszid feels right for us. We close up when the sun goes down and head home, ready to do it again tomorrow.
