Meeco Auto Lens is over at 59-A/5 in the Labour Colony. It’s a small place, really. We specialize in lenses for cars and other vehicles. If you walk through the colony, you’ll find us among the other small workshops. The workbench is always covered in plastic scraps and polishing tools. We spend hours making sure the finish on a lens is clear. It’s repetitive work, but it needs to be done right or the lights won't work properly. The light in the shop isn't always the best, so we have these big lamps hanging over the tables. We’ve been in the Labour Colony for quite a while, and we know most of the people living and working around here. It’s a tight-knit spot. Sometimes a customer brings in a broken light and asks if we can match the lens, and we have to go through our old molds to find it. It’s a bit of a hunt sometimes. We don't have a computer for everything; we just remember where we put stuff. The radio is usually playing in the background to keep things lively. It’s just a small shop life. We take our tea breaks outside when the weather is nice. It’s nothing fancy, just a place where we work on auto lenses every day. The floor is a bit uneven, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We just keep going, making lenses for whoever needs them.
