Manjunatha Engineering Industries

We've been here at B-48 in the Rajajinagar Industrial Estate for quite a long time now. It’s a busy spot and sometimes the noise from the other units can get a bit loud, but that’s just how it is around here. We spend most of our days working with various machine parts and doing different engineering jobs that come our way. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so we all know each other pretty well. The workshop isn't fancy or anything. There’s grease on the floor and tools everywhere, but we know where everything is. Usually, the morning starts with a cup of tea before we get the machines running. We do a lot of small custom jobs for other businesses in the area. Sometimes things don't go exactly to plan and a machine breaks down, then we have to spend the afternoon fixing it instead of finishing the order. Rajajinagar has changed a lot since we first opened our doors, with new buildings going up all over, but this industrial estate stays mostly the same. It’s dusty and hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going. We don’t have a big office or a receptionist. If someone needs something, they just walk into the shed and find one of us. It’s basic work, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We just try to get the pieces turned out so the customers don't have to come back with complaints. It’s a long day but we are used to it by now.
