Our place is on the Kailash Mandir Road, right near the NH 2 Road in Agra. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how busy the Trade Directory area gets. We’ve got our office set up where we can see the traffic moving along the highway. It’s mostly just us keeping track of records and making sure the local information is actually up to date. We have a lot of old ledgers and some newer computers that don't always want to cooperate. The walls are a bit plain, maybe they could use some paint, but we’re usually too busy with the paperwork to care. People come by asking for directions or help with finding local businesses. We’ve been around this neighborhood for a long time, so we know most of the shops nearby. It’s not a quiet job, there is always someone calling or a truck honking outside. We share the building with a few other folks, so there is always some coming and going in the hallways. We don’t have a big marketing team, it’s just a few of us trying to keep the directory accurate. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work through the stacks of papers on our desks. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till evening. We just want to make sure the information is there when someone needs it.
