K. L. Malhotra & Co.

We have our office in the Aggarwal College Building in Dhulia Ganj. It is an older building, so there is a lot of character and sometimes a few creaky floorboards. K. L. Malhotra & Co. has been around for quite a while. Most of the people in Dhulia Ganj know where the college building is, so they don't have much trouble finding us. Our rooms are filled with old wooden shelves and more paper than you can imagine. We handle a lot of accounts and tax-related work for local people and businesses. It isn't a modern office with glass walls. It’s more the kind of place where you sit in a comfortable chair and talk across a big desk. We spend most of our time going through ledgers and filling out forms. It can be a bit dry sometimes, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes we have to hunt through the archives to find an old file, which takes a bit of time. The office usually smells a bit like old paper and tea. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm around. We just want to help our regulars get their paperwork in order so they don't have any trouble. Most of our clients have been coming to us for years. We know their families and their businesses. It’s a very personal way of working. We just keep things simple and try to be as helpful as we can without any unnecessary fuss.
