My office is at F-13, Block-25, on the first floor in Sanjay Place. It’s right opposite the Income Tax Building, which is quite handy given the work I do. Being a Chartered Accountant in Agra means there is always something to keep me busy. The office isn't very large, but it has everything needed to get the job done. I spend a lot of time looking at screens and spreadsheets. It’s just the nature of the business. Sanjay Place is the hub of the city for this kind of work, so I am surrounded by other professionals and shops. You can hear the noise from the street, but it fades into the background after a while. I don't go in for fancy decorations or expensive carpets. I’d rather just have a clean desk and a working printer. People come in with their tax problems or business filings, and we sit down to figure it out together. It’s a one-on-one kind of place. I like the independence of running my own firm. It means I can talk to people directly without any layers of management in the way. I’ve been here for a bit now, and I’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. If you are near the Income Tax Building, you are basically right there. It’s a simple, honest setup for anyone who needs their accounts sorted out. I try to be thorough and get through the pile.
