Our little office is over in Agra, specifically on Sikandra Bodla Road. We are at number 25 in Padam Kunj. It’s quite easy to find the spot because we are right next to the Sleepwell World shop and the Kargil petrol pump is very close by too. Most mornings we get here early to start on the design work. The street outside can get pretty noisy with all the cars going to the pump, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We didn’t really plan to stay in this exact spot forever, but it’s worked out well for us so far. Inside, it’s mostly computers and some samples we’ve kept from old projects over the years. We do all sorts of design tasks, nothing too specific, just whatever the person needs that day. It’s a small team, so everyone knows what the other person is doing. We don’t really do big meetings or anything like that. We just sit down, look at the screens, and try to get the ideas down. Sometimes we have people dropping in to check on their work, and they usually find the place easily because of the landmarks. The area around Sikandra is busy, but our building is okay. We keep things pretty casual here, no suits or anything fancy. Just a few people trying to make a living doing design work in our hometown. It has been a pretty good run so far, anyway.
