Our office is tucked away in Swaroop Nagar at the Classic Apartment building. It is actually apartment 10/II on the 113/4 plot. It is not your typical corporate setup because we like being in a residential area where things feel a bit more grounded and quiet. We handle various spice orders from this space. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when the samples pile up on the main wooden table, but we manage to get through it. Swaroop Nagar is a decent place to work out of. There is always someone coming or going in the building hallways. We spend our mornings checking the batches we receive. The kitchen area often has bags of cloves or cinnamon sitting around while we sort through them. It gets a bit hectic when several suppliers arrive at the same time, but that is just part of the job for us. We do not have a big sign outside or anything like that. People who need to find us usually already know where the Classic Apartment is located. We usually keep the windows open to let the air circulate, otherwise, the smell of the spices can get really strong in a small apartment. It is just a few of us here doing the daily tasks. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the logistics. It is quiet enough to get the work done but close to the main parts of Kanpur. (248 words)
