Our business is located at Plot No. 126 on Rasigh Lakriya Marg in Firozabad. Firozabad is famous for glass, but we focus on spice products here. The plot is quite large, giving us enough room to dry out some of the spices in the sun when the weather is good. We have a simple brick building where we do the grinding and packing. It’s a dusty job and we usually end the day covered in a bit of spice powder. You can smell the ginger and garlic from the street before you even see the sign. We use some old-fashioned grinders that have been with us since we started. They make a lot of noise, but they are reliable. We have a small staff of local workers who help with the packing. We sit on the floor and fill small plastic pouches, sealing them one by one. It’s repetitive work, but we find a rhythm to it. The road outside can get quite muddy when it rains, making it hard for the trucks to get in and out. We don't have any fancy brochures or a sales team. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here on Rasigh Lakriya Marg for a long time and people know our face. It’s an honest way to spend the day, working with spices and making sure everything is packed right.
