Foot Stuff

If you know Hing Ki Mandi, you know how crowded it gets. Foot Stuff is located at 18 Ganpati Complex, which is right in the middle of all that activity. Getting here in the morning is always an adventure with the narrow lanes and all the bikes parked everywhere. The complex itself has a lot of different people coming and going. Our spot is just number 18. It is not a very big space, but it fits what we need for the day. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit by the doorway to get some light and air. We have been at this address for a bit now. Most of the people around here know us by name, or at least they recognize the sign for Foot Stuff when they walk past the stairs. We don't have a lot of flashy decorations. It’s mostly just shelves and some old chairs for when we need a break. Hing Ki Mandi has a certain smell and a certain rhythm that you just get used to after a week or two. We start early before the heat gets too bad. By the time the sun is over the Ganpati Complex, we are usually halfway through our tasks. It is a lot of back and forth, but that is just the way things work here. We like being in the thick of it at number 18.
