We're right across from the Jaypee Hotel on Fatehabad Road. It’s a busy area with lots of tourists around, but we stay focused on the shoes. Our place is in Taj Enclave, units 7 and 8. It’s not too big. We have machines running and the smell of leather and glue is always around. Some days it's louder than others. We ended up here because we knew a bit about footwear. The traffic outside is usually a mess, especially in the evenings. We see a lot of people walking by the window. Inside, it's just us and the work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. Just making sure the tech side of the shoes is okay. Sometimes we mess up and have to start a batch over. That's just how it goes. The staff has been here for a few years now. We know who likes their tea sweet and who doesn't. We don't have a fancy lobby. If you come in, you'll see boxes everywhere. We try to keep it organized but it's a struggle. Fatehabad Road stays busy, but it’s easy for the trucks to find us. We just keep our heads down and keep working on the next pair. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy every day of the week. There is always something to clean or a machine to oil. We just take it one day at a time.
