Em Es Entrepot

You can find us over in Sahni Market in the Shah Ganj area. It’s a crowded place, like most markets around here, with lots of people coming and going all day long. Our spot isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have to store everything. We handle a lot of different goods coming through here. Since we're an entrepot, there’s always something being loaded or unloaded. It can get a bit chaotic when three different deliveries show up at the same time and the narrow lanes of Shah Ganj get blocked. We just have to work fast to clear the way. The walls of our unit are lined with shelves, and we try our best to keep a track of where everything is. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking lists by hand. Sometimes it feels like we spend more time moving boxes than anything else. The guys working here are a good lot; they know the market inside out. We usually get our lunch from one of the small shops nearby because none of us has time to go far. It’s dusty and noisy, and the electricity cuts out once in a while, but that’s just life in Sahni Market. We don’t have a flashy storefront or anything. Most people who come here are looking for specific items they know we keep in stock. We just try to keep things moving.
