Chemicals & Instruments

Our shop is tucked away at 15/18 in Saron Shajan Katra. If you are looking for Chemicals & Instruments, this is where we spend most of our time. It’s not a huge place, but we manage to fit a lot in here. We have shelves filled with different bottles and glass instruments that we have to be careful not to knock over. The Katra can be a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to it. We get people coming in looking for very specific things for their labs or projects. Sometimes we have to dig through the back to find exactly what they want. It’s mostly just us handling the day-to-day tasks like answering the phone and writing down what needs to be ordered next week. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we know where everything is kept. We’ve been at this location for a good bit now. Most days involve a lot of unpacking boxes and checking for any cracks in the glassware. It’s simple work but it requires paying attention. We don't bother with fancy displays or anything like that. We just keep the inventory ready for whoever walks through the door. It’s a bit cramped when we get a big shipment, but we make it work. We like being part of this local market area where everyone is just trying to get their business done.
