Chaudhary Engineer

You can find us over at Plot No-8 in Surya Enclave. It’s tucked away in the Dayal Bagh area. Chaudhary Engineer has been operating from this same spot for some time now. It’s a decent sized plot, with just enough room for the equipment we use. The neighborhood is generally quiet, which we appreciate when we’re trying to focus on a difficult job. We usually get in early, around the time the sun is coming up, and start on whatever project is on the bench. There’s usually tools and parts scattered around the workspace, but that’s just how it goes with engineering work. We aren't a big firm with a glass front or a receptionist. It’s just a practical place to get work done. We’ve got some good neighbors in Surya Enclave who we see every day. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes the shop feel a bit heavy, but we just keep the fans going. Dayal Bagh is a solid spot to be located in. We don't have a fancy waiting room with magazines or anything like that. If someone stops by, we usually just talk right there on the shop floor. It feels more honest that way. We just focus on the job at hand and try to get it finished. Some days the work is slow and other days we are here late into the evening. We keep the machines running and try to stay on top of the pile. It’s a simple life. We just work and keep things going.
