You can find our press over at A-20 on 100 Feet Road in Kalindi Vihar. We are in the Petha Nagri area, right behind Om Vatika in Teri Bagiya. It’s a large space because those flex printing machines are huge and they need a lot of room to move the vinyl rolls around. The floor is almost always messy with offcuts of plastic and tape because we are usually in the middle of finishing a big banner. It’s quite a process getting the ink loaded and making sure the alignment is right. The machines make a steady humming noise that you get used to after an hour or two. We don’t really have a fancy office; it’s more of a workshop where things actually get made. There are usually some delivery guys waiting by the door and rolls of printed material leaning against the walls. We have some tea together in the afternoon when the big jobs are running and the sun is high. Sometimes the smell of the solvent ink is a bit strong, so we keep the big shutters open as much as we can to let the breeze through. It’s hard work and the hours can be long when a big order comes in at the last minute. We just keep the machines maintained and handle the files as they come in from the local businesses around Kalindi Vihar every single day without much rest.
