We are Agra Heart Centre and we operate as a unit of Rawat Medicare Pvt. Ltd. over here at 5-church Road in Civil Lines. It’s a busy part of town but we’ve gotten used to the noise from the street. The building itself is an older one, but it holds everything we need for the heart work we do every day. People come in from all over Agra, some walking and some in rickshaws, just looking for help with their chest pains or getting their regular checkups done. We don't have a big fancy lobby with waterfalls or anything like that. It’s mostly just rows of chairs and a television that’s usually on a news channel. The doctors keep their rooms tidy and we try to move the line along, though some days the wait gets a bit long when a lot of patients show up at once. Civil Lines is a good spot for us because people know the area well. We’ve been part of Rawat Medicare for a while now, focusing on the cardiac side of things. Most of us have been working here for years and we know the regulars who come in for their monthly prescriptions. It’s not a glamorous job but it’s important. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at charts. If you’re looking for us, we are right there on Church Road, and you can’t miss the sign outside.
