Taj Group Of Hotels

If you are looking for us, we are at Flat No-42 in Vinayaka Castle. It’s over in Vinayaka Nagar, near the Hal post office in Bangalore. This isn't one of those big hotels with the fancy lobbies and doormen. It’s a regular apartment building where we do a lot of the administrative work. I spend most of my day in this flat handling records and sorting through mail. The traffic in Bangalore is as bad as everyone says, so getting to the office in the morning takes forever. Sometimes I just stay late to avoid the worst of it. The building is okay, but the lift breaks down sometimes, so I end up taking the stairs. We have a lot of files stacked up in the corner because we haven't gotten around to scanning everything yet. It’s just a handful of us working here. We don't have a chef or anything, we just order tiffin or bring stuff from home. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time. We handle a lot of the logistical things that keep the larger parts of the group running. It’s mostly numbers and spreadsheets. Sometimes we get calls from people trying to book a room, and we have to explain that we are just the office and they need to call the front desk at the actual hotel. We just keep the paperwork moving along.
