Hotel Grand

We've been here on H. G. Basak Road in Agartala for quite a while now. It is a busy part of Tripura, especially with all the shops and people moving around throughout the day. Hotel Grand isn't anything fancy, just a building where people stay when they are passing through or have work in the city. The pincode is 799001, so we are right in the middle of things. Most days start early here because the street gets noisy quite fast. You see a lot of local rikshaws and people heading to their offices. We try to keep things running properly, but it’s just a normal place. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the rain gets really heavy, which is just how it is in this part of the country. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It is just us working here, making sure the rooms are ready for whoever shows up. There’s a lot of tea drinking and talking near the entrance. Agartala has changed a lot over the years, but H. G. Basak Road stays pretty much the same with its old buildings and the constant crowd. It’s a simple setup we have. Nothing too complicated. We just open the doors every morning and see who comes in. It’s a job like any other, and we’re just part of the neighborhood here. We just hope the day goes by without too many problems.
