You can find us at Sajjan Singh Ujjainro’s place in Agar Malwa. This part of Madhya Pradesh has its own rhythm, and we are right in the middle of it. We are a farmer producer company, which is just a way of saying we are a group of neighbors working the land together. We officially named the group Bijaksangham Farmer Producer Company Limited. We’ve been around Shajapur and Agar Malwa for a long time. Farming is what we do, and honestly, it’s all we really want to do. The office is really just a room where we keep our records and meet when the weather is too bad to be outside. We deal with all sorts of crops depending on the season. Some months it’s wheat, other times it’s soy. We don’t have a boss in a suit telling us what to do. We just look at the fields and decide together. It’s not always easy to get everyone to agree, but that’s just how it goes when you have a bunch of farmers in one room. We’ve seen the seasons change and the markets go up and down. We just keep going. It’s about making sure we can get our work done and maybe get a better price by sticking together. Agar Malwa is a good place to be if you like the quiet life and hard work. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just farming together and trying to survive the bad years. It takes a lot of patience to work with nature.
