Adhik Unnat Kisan Producer Company Limited started because a few of us in Agar were looking for a better way to do things. We use a space in Master Colony on Paal Road, which is Mahesh Sharma’s place. Agar is a good place for farming, but it has its challenges like anywhere else. We are just a group of regular guys who spend our days in the fields. The office in 465441 is where we keep the folders and the registration papers. We aren't business experts, we are farmers first. We spend a lot of time talking about which fertilizers are too expensive and how we can get a better price for our grain. It gets loud sometimes when we all have different ideas, but we usually figure it out. We wanted to call it Adhik Unnat because we want to see things get a bit better for everyone involved. It’s hard work, and the sun is hot, but we’ve been doing this forever. We don’t have a marketing team or anything polished. If someone needs to know something, they just come by the house and ask. We try to keep things simple. We deal with the crops we know best and try to stay ahead of the pests. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we are doing it together now, which helps on the bad days when everything seems to go wrong.
