Sree Saras Tile Works

Sree Saras Tile Works is a small setup at 356H on Parass La. It’s not a very big street, so keep your eyes open or you might miss us. We’ve been handling tiles for a long time now. My father started this, and now I’m running it with a couple of guys. We have heaps of samples stacked against the walls. It gets a bit dusty with all the ceramic and stone around. Cutting tiles is a messy business. We spend a lot of our time out at work sites laying floors or doing bathroom walls. It’s hard on the knees, but it’s what we do. We don't have a website or anything like that. Most of our work comes from neighbors telling their friends about us. We try to be careful with the edges so they don't chip. Sometimes a batch of tiles comes in a slightly different shade, and that’s a real headache. We have to sort through them one by one. Parass La is a quiet spot, which is nice for when we’re loading the truck. We don't promise anything fancy, just that the tiles will be straight and stay put. If you’ve got a small renovation or just need a few repairs, we can probably help. We close up early on Saturdays to spend time with the kids. It’s a simple business. We just try to do the job right the first time so we don't have to come back and fix it later.
