Mahalakshi Granite

If you are looking for us, we are right near the One P.S. on P N Road. It’s a busy spot and you can’t miss the stacks of granite leaning against each other. The traffic on P N Road can get pretty loud, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our time out in the front area showing people the different types of stone we have available. Some are darker, some have more speckles, and everyone wants something different for their house. We don't do much fancy talking here. We just show you what’s on the lot and tell you how thick the pieces are. Sometimes we get a fresh load in and the yard gets even more crowded for a few days. We have to be careful when moving the slabs because one wrong move can ruin a good piece of stone. The workers here have been doing this for years, so they know the drill. It’s a lot of manual labor, washing down the dust so the colors pop for the customers to see. We have a small desk where we write out the bills by hand. It’s just a regular local business trying to get the job done right for whoever walks in. We stay open until the sun goes down and the last truck is loaded.
