Our office sits on South Phase Road, specifically at numbers 73 and 74. It’s a big area and there is always a lot of movement on the road outside with people heading to work. Inside, it’s mostly rows of desks and the sound of typing. We spend our hours looking at code or talking through projects that need to get finished by the end of the week. It’s a lot of sitting, so we tend to drink a lot of coffee and walk down the hall just to stretch our legs. The building itself is pretty standard for this part of the city, nothing too crazy, just a place where the computers are always on. We deal with a lot of technical stuff that would sound boring to most people, but it’s what keeps us busy from nine to five and often a bit later. Sometimes the elevators are slow, so we take the stairs, which is probably better for us anyway. On lunch breaks, we usually talk about anything except work, just to give our brains a rest. Even though it’s a big name on the door, for those of us working here on South Phase Road, it’s just our daily routine of fixing bugs and making sure the systems don't crash. It's a steady job and the people here are mostly just trying to do their best.
