Khanderaya Utnoor Farmers Producercompany Limited

We are based in Utnoor Village, which is part of the Sadashiva Nagar Mandal. Our little office is at house number 1-29. It’s a group effort run by the farmers here. We mostly deal with the crops grown in our local area. It’s not a complicated setup. We just needed a way to bring our produce together so we could have a bit more say in the prices. Most of the day, you’ll find us out in the fields rather than sitting at a desk. We meet at the house in the evenings or early mornings to plan out the week ahead. It’s a lot of talk about water, soil, and the upcoming harvest. We don't have any fancy marketing or a big team of sales people. It is just us, the people who grow the food. Sometimes we have to drive quite a distance to get things sorted, but that’s just how it is in rural areas like ours. The village is quiet, and we like it that way. Being a producer company has helped us stay a bit more organized than we used to be in the past. It’s still hard work, but sharing the load makes it a bit better for everyone. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep our farms running and our families fed. We take it one season at a time and hope for the best.
