Bhosi Farmers Producer Company Limited

Out here in Adilabad, in the Beltharoda area, we started Bhosi Farmers Producer Company. It's a mouthful of a name, but we’re really just a group of local farmers coming together. We operate from a simple place at 1-4 Beltharoda. Life here is tied to the seasons and the rain. We aren't trying to be some huge company that loses touch with the ground. Every one of us knows what it’s like to work in the sun all day. We put this company together because it made sense to work as a group rather than on our own. It’s not always smooth sailing. We have disagreements about what to plant or how to sell the harvest. That is just what happens when you have real people involved who care about their livelihood. Adilabad is a tough place to farm sometimes, but we’ve been here our whole lives. We don't have a lot of money for fancy offices or big ads. Our office is just a room where we sit and talk about prices and seeds. We share the work and we share the problems too. It’s an honest way to live. When someone walks in, they see us just as we are, usually dusty from the fields or tired from the sun. We don't put on an act for anyone. We’re just trying to get a fair shake for the hard work we do every single day in the soil. It's a long road, but we're walking it together.
