Jrm High School

Jrm High School is located in Bhainsa, which is part of Adilabad. It is not a very big place, but it serves the families living nearby. We have been here for some time now, watching the kids grow up and move on to other things. The school day starts early when the sun is just coming up. You can see the students walking down the road in their uniforms. Some of them come from quite far away. The building itself is plain. We don't spend much on decorations because we'd rather use that money for things the students actually need. The classrooms have enough light and air. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just keep going with the windows open. Teachers here are part of the community too. They know the parents and the grandparents. We all know each other here, so it is not like a big cold institution. We have a small playground where the kids run around during the break. It gets dusty, but they don't seem to mind much. We handle the high school classes, so the subjects get a bit harder as they get older. We just try to get through the syllabus and make sure everyone understands the basics of what is on the page. It's honest work and we are glad to be doing it here in Bhainsa. Life moves at its own pace in this part of Adilabad and we just follow along, day in and day out, with our books and our students.
