Betna High School

Our school sits at 4-1-33 on the Main Road in Rampur Nirmal. Being in Adilabad, we get all sorts of weather, from the heavy rains that make the road muddy to the dry heat that settles over everything in May. The building is right there where everyone passes by, so we are used to the noise of the buses and the motorbikes throughout the morning. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age in a few spots, but it’s sturdy enough for the hundreds of kids who walk through the doors. Inside, it’s mostly just the basics. We have our classrooms, the small office where the paperwork piles up, and the space where everyone gathers. We don't have much use for fancy talk or expensive decorations. We spend our time checking homework and trying to keep the hallways from getting too chaotic during the breaks. The local families know us well, and we often see the parents stopping by to ask about something while they are out doing their errands on the Main Road. It’s a very practical sort of place. We focus on the books and the lessons, making sure everyone stays on track as best as they can. Every day is pretty much the same, with the same bell sounds and the same routines, and that suits us just fine here in Rampur Nirmal. It’s just how we do things in this part of town.
