Dasi Ravi Kumar

I am located over at Ravi Diabetes Hospital, on the first floor of the building. The address is D. No. 4-100/2, right at the Bellampally Chowrasta in Janmabhoomi Nagar, Mancherial. It is a very busy intersection, so there are always people milling about and auto-rickshaws honking their horns outside. My workspace is part of the hospital setup, which means it is usually quite clinical and plain. I share the floor with a few other staff members. We see a lot of people coming in and out every single day, mostly folks from around the 504208 area code. It is not the quietest place to work, but it is where I need to be to get things done. I spend most of my time looking over files and talking to patients or their families who come by. The stairs up to the first floor can be a bit steep for some of the older people, but we have a lot of regulars who don't seem to mind. We do not have any fancy decorations on the walls, just the necessary medical charts and some old calendars. Mancherial gets very hot during the summer, so the air conditioning in the hospital is a blessing during those months. I have been working out of this spot for a while now, and I have gotten used to the rhythm of the hospital. It is not a glamorous job, but it feels important to be here.
