Rajensa Livestock Private Limited

Rajensa Livestock is based in Ghola, over on Prasana Chatterjee Road. We are right near Inu Ghosh’s house, which is how most local people find us if they are looking. Santosh Pal is the main person here at 84/B. We work with livestock, and as anyone who does this knows, it’s a twenty-four-hour job. The animals don't care if it's a holiday or if you're feeling sick. They need attention regardless. We aren't a big industrial farm; we are more of a local operation. We spend most of our time out back or in the sheds. The road can be a bit busy, but we've got our own rhythm going. We don't have any polished marketing materials. If you come by, you'll see us in our working clothes, probably covered in some dirt. That’s just the nature of the work. North 24 Parganas has a lot of people doing this kind of thing, so we just try to do our part. It isn't always easy, especially when the costs of everything go up, but we manage. We’ve grown a bit over the years but kept the same way of doing things. It’s about the livestock and making sure they are healthy. We don't talk much about values or missions, we just get the work done. It’s practical and it’s what we know. We aren't trying to be anything we are not. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily routine of looking after the animals. It is a long day every day.
