P And C Smartech Solutions is based at 55/B Purba Sinthee Road, right in Ward No. 13 of Dumdum, specifically the Fakirghosh area. It’s a busy neighborhood and we’re right in the thick of it. We deal with smart technology, but we aren't high-and-mighty about it. It’s just tools and systems that we try to make work better. The office is a bit old-fashioned, but it has everything we need to stay busy. We’ve got a mix of people here, some who’ve been in tech for years and some who are just starting out. We don't follow a strict corporate dress code or anything. Most of us just wear whatever is comfortable for sitting at a desk all day. We spend a lot of time talking through projects over tea from the shop down the road. Dumdum is a great place for a business like ours because there’s always something going on and plenty of people around. Our work involves a lot of trial and error, which is just the nature of technology. We don’t pretend to have all the answers right away, but we stick with a problem until it’s sorted out. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we mostly rely on doing a decent job so people don't have to call us back to fix the same thing twice. It’s a practical way to run a business.
