North Agriculture Research Training And Management Council

Our office is over on Shyamnagar Road in the Dum Dum area. It is a bit of a trek for some people, but it is where we are based. We deal with agricultural training and research stuff. A lot of the work is just organizing things for farmers or folks who want to learn more about growing different crops. The building number is 101, near Gouri Nath Shastri Sarani. It is not a shiny new office block, just a regular place where we get the work done. We spend a lot of time on management tasks too. Agriculture is a big deal around West Bengal, so there is always something to look at or research. Sometimes we have people coming in for workshops or just to ask us a few questions. It can get a bit cluttered with all the papers and training manuals lying around. The North Parganas area keeps us fairly busy. We aren't trying to change the whole world overnight or anything, just doing our bit with the training side of things. It is a small group of us here. The weather gets really hot in Kolkata, so the fans are always spinning. We try to keep things moving. It is practical work. No big speeches or anything like that. Just helping people understand the farming side of things a bit better. That is what we do at the council. Most days are just regular office days. We usually eat our lunch together at the big table in the back. It’s a simple life for us.
