Mohogney Agrotech Private Limited is based in the DLF Galleria building in New Town. It’s a bit different from a farm setting since we are in a modern block like Action Area 1B. Even though we are in a corporate-looking building, we are still very much focused on the agrotech side of things. We spend a lot of time on computers and phones trying to figure out better ways for the agro industry to work. It’s a mix of technology and farming knowledge. New Town is a developing area, so there’s always construction going on around us. It’s a far cry from the actual fields, but the work we do here eventually affects what happens out there. We aren't a typical tech startup with bean bags and free snacks. We are just a group of people working out of a professional space because it’s central and easy for meetings. Sometimes the office feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of data to go through, but we make it work. We try to keep things simple and not get lost in the jargon of the tech world. Our goal is just to make agrotech practical for the people who actually use it. It’s a lot of trial and error, like most things in this business. We are just happy to have a steady place to work from in such a busy part of Kolkata and keep our projects moving along.
