Baba Khad Beej Bhandar

Baba Khad Beej Bhandar is our little shop located at Shop No. 9 on Mohana Road. We are right by the Udasin Ashram, which is a very peaceful and well-known place in the area. Our business is focused on seeds and fertilizers, which is what "Khad Beej" means for those who might not know. We spend our time talking to farmers and gardeners who come in looking for the right stuff to help their crops grow. It’s seasonal work, so some times of the year are much busier than others. When it’s planting season, the shop gets really crowded with bags of seeds and different supplies. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations. The walls are mostly covered with calendars and notes about different types of grain or fertilizer. Mohana Road can be quite busy, but being near the Ashram gives the area a nice feel. We’ve been here for a long time and we know a lot of our customers by name. It’s a local business through and through. We aren't trying to expand into some huge company. We just want to keep providing the community with the seeds and supplies they need to keep their fields green. If you’re driving down Mohana Road, you’ll see us there. It’s a simple shop and we do our work without making a lot of fuss. It’s been our life for many years and we’re happy to be here.
