Industrial Thermal Engineers

We have been here at Plot No. 66/13 in Phase-1 of the GIDC in Vatva for quite some time now. It gets really hot in the afternoons, especially when all the machines are running at once. Most of us arrive early to beat the traffic coming into the industrial area. The sign for Industrial Thermal Engineers has seen better days, but everyone around here knows where we are. There is always a lot of clanking and the smell of metal in the air. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just sit outside and talk until it comes back on. It is a busy place. We spend a lot of time looking at drawings and checking the temperature of things. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or shavings by the end of the shift. Someone usually brings in snacks around four o'clock. It is just the way things go here. We have a few regulars who drop by just to chat or ask for a bit of help with a small job. The trucks come and go all day long on this road. It can be noisy, but you get used to it after a week or two. Our workshop isn't fancy, but it gets the job done and we keep the doors open as much as possible to catch a breeze. It feels like a second home to most of the guys who have worked here for years.
