Gandhidham is a place where the weather can be tough, but we have a good spot at Plot No. 56 in Sector 8. Here at J S Furniture, there is always sawdust on the floor. No matter how much we sweep, it always comes back. We work with wood all day long, cutting, sanding, and putting things together. You can hear the saws buzzing from the street. It is not a showroom where everything is shiny and perfect. It is a workshop where things are actually made. We have a few guys who are really good with their hands and can build just about anything if you give them a sketch. We don't have a corporate office or a sales team. If you want furniture, you come to Sector 8 and talk to us directly. We show you the wood we have and we get to work. Kachchh is a big area, and we have been serving the local people around here for quite some time. We aren't interested in being the biggest company; we just want to finish the table or the cupboard we started this morning. The work is physical and sometimes our backs ache at the end of the day, but seeing a finished piece of furniture is a good feeling. We just keep our tools sharp and our workbench messy, just like a real shop should be. We just stick to the wood and the tools we know best to get through the orders.
