A Sumana Sudhir

I work out of Flat No 204 in the Chiranjivi Apartments, which is located in West Marredpally, Secunderabad. It’s a quiet residential building, so it’s a very different environment than a traditional office building downtown. My setup is in one of the spare rooms of the apartment. I have a large desk, a comfortable chair, and all my files organized on some simple metal shelves. Being in West Marredpally is great because the streets are lined with old trees and it feels very peaceful during the day. Most of my work involves a lot of reading, researching, and writing, so the quiet environment helps a lot with my concentration. I don’t have a team of people working under me. It’s just me, A Sumana Sudhir, handling everything from the emails and phone calls to the actual work itself. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it’s a delivery or a neighbor coming to chat, which is just part of the experience of working from home. I’ve lived in Secunderabad for a long time and I really like the sense of community here. My clients usually find me through word of mouth or by looking up my address in the local directory. I don't use any fancy business language or try to sound like a huge corporation. It’s just a professional service run from a home office. The apartment is cozy and has a nice view of the greenery outside. It’s a simple, honest way to work.
