Anand Poultry Farm

It gets pretty loud here early in the morning when the sun starts coming up. We've been running Anand Poultry Farm out of Plot No: 2 in Phase 2 of Hirise Prode Colony for a good while now. Nizampet Road is always busy, but back here where we are, it's just the usual bird sounds and getting things ready for the day. Raising birds takes up most of our time, and there is always something that needs fixing or cleaning. We don't have a big office or anything fancy, just the sheds and the space we need to work. Most days you will find us checking on the flocks or loading up crates for transport. It is hard work on the legs and your back definitely feels it by the afternoon. We've lived around here for years, so we know the neighbors and the local shops well. The colony has changed a lot since we first set up, but we just keep doing what we do. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a bit of a hard time finding the exact turn off Nizampet Road because the signs aren't great. If you come by, you’ll see us in our work clothes, probably covered in a bit of dust. It isn't a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy from dawn until it gets dark. We just try to keep the birds healthy and get the eggs where they need to go.
