Down in Jadcherla, specifically at the TSIIC SEZ in Polepally, you’ll find us at units S-3, S-4, and S-5a. We’re part of the Amneal Oncology team. It’s a bit of a drive out to Mahaboob Nagar, but it’s where the work happens. Since we deal with oncology stuff, the environment is a bit more controlled than a regular machine shop. We have to wear the hairnets and the lab coats, which can be a bit of a hassle but it’s necessary for what we’re doing. The facility is clean and mostly quiet, except for the hum of the air systems. We focus on making medicines. It’s a lot of following steps and making sure everything is measured out exactly. There’s no room for guessing here. Most of us live nearby or commute from the surrounding towns. We take our breaks together and talk about the local news. The SEZ is a big area, so there are always other companies around, but we mostly stick to our own units. We aren't here to make big claims; we just follow the protocols and get the batches done. It’s a serious job because people rely on what we make. We try to stay focused and keep the lines running smoothly throughout the shift. It’s a steady routine, and we’ve gotten used to the pace of life out here in the specialized zone.
