Bandamidi Jyothi is out in Bardipur, which is part of the Jharasangam Mandal. The address is 1-74 if you are trying to find the exact spot. Life around here moves at its own pace and we do not try to rush it too much. Being in a mandal like Jharasangam means there is a lot of agricultural activity nearby. You see tractors and people heading out to the fields early in the morning. We open up and start our work just like everyone else. It is not a polished setup with signs and lights. It is just a room where we get things done. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat for a few minutes while they are on their way somewhere else. We do not have a website or any of those things because people just know where we are. If someone asks for Jyothi, they usually get pointed to this house. The roof keeps the rain off and the walls are sturdy enough. That is all we really need to keep going. We do not make big promises about what we do. We just take it day by day and hope for good weather. It is a practical way to live and it works for us. Most of the time it is peaceful except when there is a festival or something going on in the village. Then it gets quite loud and colorful.
