Suriya Travels

Suriya Travels is based over at Plot No-17 in the NRI Anand Nagar Residency. That’s in the Ameenpur area, near Beeramguda in Patancheru. Most of the time, our cars are out on the road, so the office feels a bit quiet. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to people who need to get to the airport or go see their family in another town. Traffic around Patancheru can be a real headache, so we are always checking the clocks and trying to figure out the fastest ways through the back streets. I spend a lot of time cleaning the seats and making sure there isn't any trash left behind by the last passenger. It’s a lot of driving, and the roads aren't always great, which means the cars need a lot of looking after. Sometimes a driver calls in sick and I have to jump in the car myself, even if I have other things to do. We don't have a fancy waiting lounge or anything like that. It’s just a small spot in the residency where we keep our keys and our logbooks. People call us because they know we are right here in the neighborhood. It’s a simple business of getting someone from one place to another without too much fuss. Every day is different depending on who is traveling and where the traffic is blocked up.
