Ambica Powder Coating Works

Our workshop is over on Plot No. C/17 along the Matangi Transport Road. If you know the GIDC area, you know it's mostly factories and transport hubs. We do powder coating here. It’s a lot of prep work, cleaning parts and getting them ready for the ovens. The air smells like metal and paint most days. We have been working out of this spot for a bit now. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that. Just a workspace with the equipment we need to get things finished. Most of our day is spent handling different metal pieces that come in from other shops around the estate. We get some pretty big batches sometimes. The road outside stays busy with trucks since it's a transport route. We usually have the fans going to keep the air moving inside while we work. It's steady work and we keep to ourselves for the most part. If someone stops by, they’ll probably find us mid-job. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork if we can help it. The focus is on the ovens and making sure the coating goes on right. It’s a straightforward setup. We keep the tools where they belong and try to get the jobs done before the day ends. Sometimes we stay late to finish a batch when the orders are high. It is a noisy place but we are used to it by now.
