Roop Electric Works

We are located on Street Number 6 in Dashmesh Nagar, which is just off the main Gill Road. It is a local repair shop, and we have been in this same spot since the neighborhood was a lot quieter than it is now. Mostly, we spend our time doing electrical repairs and motor winding. The shop is filled to the ceiling with copper wires, hand tools, and old spare parts we have kept over the years just in case someone needs them. It is definitely not the neatest place you will ever see, but we know exactly where every tool is kept. People from all over the Gill Road area bring us their broken machinery. Sometimes it is just a simple ceiling fan that stopped spinning, other times it is a big industrial motor from one of the nearby factories. We just take the whole thing apart, find where the wire burnt out, and fix it up. We do not use any fancy computer systems or high-tech diagnostic tools for our work. It is all done by hand and based on years of experience doing the same thing. My father was the one who started this shop, and we just kept the doors open. The little tea stall next door is where we spend our afternoon breaks. It is a simple way to make a living. We do not even have a website; people just know us.
