We are situated at No. 223-B in the Industrial Estate on Link Road. It’s a straightforward location for a business like Gaidu Electricals. We have a big rolling shutter that stays open most of the day to let in some air while we work on the electrical components. The space is filled with reels of wire, switchgear, and testing equipment. It’s not a showroom by any stretch; it’s a working warehouse and workshop. You’ll usually find a couple of us hunched over a circuit board or packing up a crate for delivery. The Link Road area is always busy, so we hear the traffic all day long, but it just becomes background noise after a while. We wear work clothes that usually have a bit of dust on them, and we talk about the jobs in plain English. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we all have to wait around, but usually, it's just a steady stream of work.
