Babu Diary Farm

Babu Diary Farm is situated at H. No : 1-223 in Kishanraopet. We are out in the Velgatoor area of Karimnagar. Life on the farm starts very early, usually before the sun is even up. We have to get everything ready for the day, tending to the animals and making sure the milk is handled properly. It is a lot of physical work, and there are no days off when you have livestock to care for. The cows need feeding and cleaning every single day, regardless of the weather or how we are feeling. Our place in Kishanraopet is quite simple. We have the sheds for the cattle and space for the feed. You can hear the sounds of the farm from a distance. We supply to the local people around Velgatoor and sometimes further into Karimnagar. It is a messy job sometimes, with the mud and the hay, but it is what we know how to do. We don't use any fancy machinery for everything; a lot of it is still done by hand. My family has been involved in this for a while. We just try to keep the animals healthy and the milk coming. People know where to find us if they need fresh dairy. It’s a quiet life out here, away from the big city noise. We just focus on the daily routine and keeping the farm running as it should be.
