Jyothi Vegetables Cultivation

We grow vegetables over here at house number 5-184/2 in the Harijanawada area of Jangam. It’s a lot of hands-on work every single day. We don’t have a big warehouse or a fleet of trucks. It’s just the garden beds and the fields where we plant our seeds. My hands are usually dirty from the soil, but that’s just how it goes when you’re growing food. We watch the weather closely because a bad storm can ruin weeks of work. We grow things like leafy greens, tomatoes, and whatever else grows well in our Jangam soil. Everything is done by hand mostly. We pick the vegetables when they are ready and take them to where they need to go. It’s a simple cycle of planting, watering, and harvesting. Sometimes the insects are a problem, and we have to figure out how to handle that without spending too much money. People in the neighborhood know we have fresh stuff. Our house is always busy with something, whether we are sorting the harvest or preparing the ground for the next round of seeds. This is Jyothi Vegetables Cultivation, and we are just the family working the land we have. It’s hard work on the back and the knees, but seeing the plants grow makes it worth it at the end of the day. We hope the monsoon is good this year and the market stays steady.
